Task 2: How I Think Blogger will be Useful for my Coursework

The Usefulness of Blogger for Coursework
  • For starters, I can access my work anywhere, unlike those awful Mac's we must use, with little to no instruction. Though of course I imagine in due time they will be really useful, but until then, I shall try to keep to the basics.
  • As it is online, I can also do research at the same time as updating. I can find and keep all my coursework in the same place so I will not lose it, unless, of course, the internet destroys itself from the inside as it slowly takes over the world. Probably will NOT happen for a while, if not ever. My work can be recorded in one place so is handy for revision purposes.
  • Blogger is free to use and widely known so any issues can be fixed easily.
  • It is useful to the rest of the class, and other classes, if they ever get stuck on what they need to do, though I hope they can look past most of my sarcasm and irrelevant comments. At least I can get inspiration from theirs.
  • Blogger comes with many templates, or you can make your own, so it is not time consuming to be able to change it to your needs, and you can make it unique.
    Internet Kiosk
  • The technology world is ever changing, so online coursework can help indefinitely as we have such good access to it. We have it on our phones, in libraries, in class, around college, in phone booths, on buses and even on internet machines around the shopping centres! If ever we needed to change or add to our work, we could go to any of these places and keep on top of our work.
  • However, blogger can also be a bad idea for coursework, as computers are easy to fault. The Mac's (as I have touched upon before) can be difficult to use, therefore deteriorating our learning and working time. This was proven today as we couldn't access work as quickly as we are not used to the format of the Apple Mac.
But the overall aspects of blogger for my coursework is useful and I am looking forward to working with the programme and broadening my knowledge and skills. I will be able to share with other people in my class what I have done, and it means that my lecturer can check on my progress without having to look after several pieces of paper. Ah yes! It saves on paper and therefore global warming and also money.
